Ambassadors River View Opens

EastPark is pleased to be the ad agency representing United Nations Events for the last 11 + years and we are especially proud of the newest tented venue on the UN campus – the Ambassadors River View. Located on the lawn on the north side of the UN property, the Ambassadors River View is a beautiful tent with breathtaking views of the East River and Long Island City. We invited event planners, wedding planners, UN officials and our own family of clients to attend the ribbon cutting and cocktail reception. Thanks to David Adler at BizBash, Claudia Hanlin at the Wedding Library, POM Wonderful, Empire Force Events and the other partners who made this evening a success.

EastPark named the new property and produced the logo, website, advertising, media plan, social media, partnerships and ongoing promotions for United Nations Catering. You can see more at www.ambassadorsview.com

EastPark Subway Series

As I travel from one New York City icon to the next, from the United Nations to the Soho Grand, from the Central Park Zoo to New York University, I am always knocked out by the incredible craftsmanship that built this city. A great example that might be underappreciated is in plain view; NYC’s subway mosaic tiling, most of which dates as far back as 100 years. As I hop on the N and the R, or transfer to the A and the E, I get to see a canvas like no other, with design and typefaces made from thousands of tiny pieces of glass. Some depict the city’s rich history, some express the flavor of the neighborhood and some are just pure artistic expression, with new ones still being created. These beautiful tableaus may not always be noticed in the hustle of the day. With deep respect for the workmanship, I’d like to share some of my favorites with you.
